This is Avalanche Lake in Glacier National Park in Montana.  It’s a huge park.  We were there early in the season and the Going-to-the-Sun road was still closed.  I hope I get to go back there one day!

It had been raining heavily by the time we arrived, so the walk up to this lake was pretty muddy.  It wasn’t too bad though, and we saw lots of young elk on our way.
